- Avoid exposing the battery to extreme high or low temperatures during use or storage.
- Protect the battery from drops and collisions.
- Store the battery in a cool, dry place if not in use for a long time.
- Ensure the battery is compatible with motors ranging from 250W to 1600W.

- Tūhono te Pūhiko: Slide the battery onto the mounted bracket until it clicks securely into place.
- Haumarutia ki te Maukati: Use the provided key to lock the battery onto the mount for added security.

Connect the charger to the battery's charging port, then plug the charger into a standard wall outlet. The built-in indicator lights will show the charging status:
- 25% Ka utua: 1 Red light, 0 Green lights
- 50% Ka utua: 1 Red light, 1 Green light
- 75% Ka utua: 1 Red light, 2 Green lights
- 100% Ka utua: 1 Red light, 3 Green lights
Charging is complete when one red light and three green lights are illuminated simultaneously.

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity of your BAFANG battery, which has a lifespan of up to 5 years and over 1000 charging cycles.
- Whakataua Tonu: Do not allow the battery to remain fully discharged for extended periods. Charge it regularly, even if not in frequent use.
- Rokiroki: If storing the battery for a long time, ensure it is partially charged (around 50-70%) and kept in a cool, dry environment, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Te horoi: Keep the battery and its contacts clean and dry. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe away any dust or dirt. Avoid using water or harsh chemicals.
- Tirotiro: Periodically inspect the battery case, cables, and connectors for any signs of damage or wear.

The integrated BMS provides comprehensive protection. If you experience issues such as the battery not powering on, not charging, or unexpected shutdowns, consider the following:
- Kore Mana: Check if the battery is securely mounted and locked. Ensure the power switch is in the 'ON' position.
- Kaore i te utu: Verify that the charger is correctly connected to both the battery and the power outlet. Check for any damage to the charger or cables.
- Kati ohorere: The BMS may have activated due to overcharge, overdischarge, overload, or temperature issues. Allow the battery to cool down or charge it if it's low. Ensure your motor's wattage is within the supported range (50W-1600W).
- Hototahi: Confirm that the battery interface (Anderson, with XT60 adapter if needed) is correctly connected to your motor.
