4. Tohutohu Tatūnga

Follow these steps to set up your JioFind Pro 4G GPS Tracker:

1. Install the JioThings App: Download and install the JioThings app from your device's Play Store or App Store.
2. Sign In/Create Account: Sign in or create a new account using your Jio number.
3. Tāpiri Pūrere Hōu: In the app, click "Add New" >> Select "JioFind" >> Choose "JioFind/FindPro" >> Proceed.
4. Tāpiri ā-ringa: Select "Add Manually" >> Enter the IMEI & ICCID (found on the device/packaging) >> Choose the appropriate Category >> Add.
5. Whakaae ki ngā Ture: Tick "Agree to T&C" >> Request OTP >> Next >> Okay.
6. Whakahohenga: Your device is now set up. Data should appear in the app within 10-15 minutes. Full activation may take up to 4 hours.

• Ensure you are in an open, uncovered area during the initial setup for optimal GPS signal acquisition.
• You must have a valid active data plan on your Jio Number for the device to function.

5.1 Ngā Aratohu Utu

• Use only the recommended Type A to Type C charging cable provided in the box. Type C to C charging cables are not supported and will not charge the device.
• To recalibrate the battery gauge for optimal performance, perform a full charge/discharge cycle (e.g., twice) periodically.
• The LEDs on the device will glow for approximately 10 seconds when the power button is pressed, then turn off to conserve power. The device remains active even when LEDs are off.

5.2 Kōkuhu SIM

• Ensure the Jio SIM card is inserted in the correct orientation. The Jio Logo on the SIM and the Jio Logo on the device should face the same side. You will hear a click sound when the SIM is correctly seated.

5.3 GPS Logic

• A valid active data plan on your Jio Number is essential for GPS functionality.
• For the initial GPS latching, place your JioFind Device in an open-air and uncovered location. The default factory location will update to the current location once GPS acquisition is complete.
• When the device is in motion, the GPS location will update approximately every 15 seconds.
• If the device remains stationary at one location, the location timestamp will indicate where it was last detected. If the device moves approximately 15 meters or more, its location will update.
• Whakakahoretanga: GPS latching will not occur inside buildings, homes, or covered parking areas for any GPS product.

• Geofence Management: Create and manage geofences to receive entry/exit alerts.
• Overspeed Alert Configuration: Set custom speed limits and receive alerts if exceeded.

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your JioFind Pro 4G GPS Tracker, consider the following maintenance tips:

• Kei te utu: Always use the provided Type A to C USB cable for charging. Avoid using Type C to C cables as they are incompatible.
• Tiaki Pūhiko: For best battery health, perform a full charge and discharge cycle occasionally. Avoid leaving the device fully discharged for extended periods.
• Nga Tikanga Taiao: Keep the device dry and away from extreme temperatures (both hot and cold). Avoid exposing it to direct sunlight for prolonged durations.
