Hiranga: Installation of a mini-split system requires specialized tools and knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical wiring, and refrigerant handling. Improper installation can lead to refrigerant leaks, electrical shock, fire, and damage to the unit, voiding the warranty. Professional installation by a certified HVAC technician is strongly recommended.
General Installation Steps (Overview)

- Tīpako Tauwāhi: Choose appropriate locations for both the indoor and outdoor units, ensuring proper airflow, drainage, and structural support.

- Tāutahia te Wāhanga o Waho: Whakatakotoria te waeine o waho ki runga i tētahi mata pumau, papatahi, whakamaua rānei kia mau.
- Honoa ngā Raina Whakamatao: Connect the copper refrigerant lines between the indoor and outdoor units. Ensure proper flaring and torque to prevent leaks.

- Vacuum and Charge: Evacuate the refrigerant lines to remove air and moisture. The unit is pre-charged with R-454B refrigerant.
- Whakaheke wai: Ensure the condensate drain hose is properly installed and sloped for effective water removal.
- Mahi Whakamatau: After installation, perform a test run to ensure all functions are working correctly.
