Hiranga: Installation of a mini-split system requires specialized tools and knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical wiring, and refrigerant handling. Improper installation can lead to refrigerant leaks, electrical shock, fire, and damage to the unit, voiding the warranty. Professional installation by a certified HVAC technician is strongly recommended.

General Installation Steps (Overview)

  1. Tīpako Tauwāhi: Choose appropriate locations for both the indoor and outdoor units, ensuring proper airflow, drainage, and structural support.
  2. Maunga Wae Roto: Secure the mounting plate to the wall, then install the indoor unit.
  3. Tāutahia te Wāhanga o Waho: Whakatakotoria te waeine o waho ki runga i tētahi mata pumau, papatahi, whakamaua rānei kia mau.
