The KLIM K7 features a compact design with intuitive controls. Key components include:

Tatūnga

  1. Utuhia te Pūhiko: Connect the supplied USB-C cable to the player's USB-C port and to a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or computer USB port. The device has a 1000mAh rechargeable battery and typically requires 2 hours for a full charge.
  2. Kōkuhu Kāri SD: Locate the SD card slot on the side of the player. Gently insert the included 16GB Micro SD card until it clicks into place. Ensure it is inserted correctly to avoid damage.
  3. Whakahiko: Slide the ON/OFF switch to the 'ON' position to power on the device.

  2. Insert a cassette tape and close the compartment securely.
  3. Press the 'PLAY' button on the top of the device to start playback.
  4. Adjust volume using the volume dial on the side.
  5. Use 'F.FWD' (Fast Forward) and 'F.REW' (Fast Rewind) buttons to navigate the tape.
  6. Press 'STOP' to end playback.

Converting Cassette to MP3

The KLIM K7 allows direct conversion of cassette audio to MP3 files on the inserted SD card.

  1. Ensure an SD card is inserted and the device is powered on.
  2. Insert the cassette tape you wish to convert.
  3. Press the 'PLAY' button on the top to start the cassette.
  4. Long press the 'RECORD' button (red dot) on the front panel. The LCD will show 'REC' and a timer will start, indicating recording is active.
  5. Press the 'RECORD' button again to stop the recording. The recorded audio will be saved as an MP3 file i runga i te kaari SD.
  6. Hei whakawhiti files to a computer, remove the SD card and use the included SD card reader.

Using the Built-in Microphone & Speaker

The KLIM K7 features a built-in microphone for direct audio recording and an integrated speaker for playback.

  1. Ensure an SD card is inserted.
  2. Long press the 'RECORD' button (red dot) on the front panel. The LCD will show 'REC' and a timer will start.
  3. Speak into the built-in microphone to record your voice or surrounding audio.

  5. To play back recordings, use the navigation buttons to select the desired file on the SD card and press 'PLAY'.

Using as an SD Card Music Player

The KLIM K7 can also play MP3 files directly from the SD card.

  1. Ensure an SD card with MP3 filekua whakaurua a s.
  2. Use the navigation buttons (forward/backward arrows) to browse through the MP3 files i runga i te kaari SD.
  3. Press 'PLAY' to start playback of the selected MP3 file.

Connecting Earphones and Bluetooth

For private listening, plug the included KLIM Fusion earphones into the 3.5mm earphone jack. The built-in speaker will automatically mute.

The KLIM K7 also supports Bluetooth connectivity for wireless earphones or speakers.

  1. Turn on your Bluetooth headphones or speaker and set them to pairing mode.
  2. On the KLIM K7, press and hold the Bluetooth button (usually indicated by a 'BT' or Bluetooth symbol). The indicator light will flash blue.
  3. Once connected, the indicator light will remain solid blue.
