3.2 MPCe Expressive Pads

The 16 velocity and pressure-sensitive MPCe pads utilize revolutionary 3D-sensing technology with four quadrants per pad. This allows for morphing, looping, layering, and controlling sounds and effects with enhanced expression. These pads are ideal for dynamic beatmaking and production.

3.3 Whakaraupapa Hipanga

Utilize the 16-step performance-ready step sequencer to program beats, sequence external synthesizers, and arrange clips. This feature is integral for DAWless setups, live performance, and precise pattern building.

3.4 Q-Link Knobs and Touch-Strip

The 16 touch-responsive Q-Link knobs with OLED displays provide immediate visual feedback and control over various parameters. The assignable touch-strip offers additional performance control for effects, repeats, and more.

5. Software and Sounds

The MPC XL operates on MPC3 OS and comes with a comprehensive software package.

5.1 MPC3 OS

The MPC3 OS allows for up to 32 plugin instruments and 16 audio tracks, with support for up to 256 simultaneous voices. This powerful operating system is designed for seamless standalone production.

5.3 MPC3 Pro Pack

The included MPC3 Pro Pack offers a comprehensive feature expansion with new AIR pro plugins, including Reverb Pro, Visual EQ4, Fabric Select, and Utility, further enhancing your workflow.
