Aerosphere Manuals & User Guides
Aerosphere manufactures advanced CO2 monitoring systems and safety alarms designed for compliance in restaurants, breweries, and industrial facilities.
About Aerosphere manuals on Manuals.plus
Aerosphere is a dedicated brand of precision carbon dioxide (CO2) monitoring systems produced by CO2 Monitoring, LLC. Designed, engineered, and assembled in the USA, Aerosphere products are essential safety devices for environments where compressed CO2 is stored or used, such as soda fountains, breweries, indoor cultivation facilities, and walk-in coolers. The systems are built to meet strict NFPA, NBIC, and IFC regulations, providing reliable detection of hazardous gas levels.
The Aerosphere product line features Primary and Secondary monitoring units equipped with accurate NDIR (Non-Dispersive Infrared) sensors. These devices offer visual and audible alarms to warn occupants of dangerous CO2 concentrations ranging from 5,000 to 30,000 ppm. Advanced features include relay outputs for controlling ventilation fans or shut-off valves and the ability to link multiple monitors for comprehensive coverage. Aerosphere ensures safety and compliance for businesses protecting staff and customers from the dangers of inert gas asphyxiation.

-
What do the different colored lights on the Aerosphere monitor mean?
Typically, blue lights indicate normal operation. A light turns yellow when the CO2 concentration exceeds half the alarm level, and turns red when the concentration reaches the full alarm level.
-
Where should the Aerosphere CO2 sensor be mounted?
The CO2 sensor should be mounted approximately 12 inches above floor level, as CO2 is heavier than air and tends to accumulate near the ground.
-
What does the 'SENSOR NO RESPONSE' message mean?
This message appears on the LCD display if the sensor unit is not properly connected to the Primary or Secondary unit via the RJ11 cable.
-
How typically does the Aerosphere system alarm?
The system has three default alarm levels: 5000ppm, 15000ppm, and 30000ppm. The audible beep rate increases as the alarm level rises.
-
Can the Aerosphere monitor control external devices?
Yes, the Primary unit has valve relay outputs that can be programmed to operate a CO2 shutoff valve, a vent fan, or signal a central alarm panel during an alarm condition.
