Tatūnga

  1. Wewete ana: Carefully remove the laminator from its packaging. Ensure all packing materials are removed from the unit.
  2. Turanga: Place the laminator on a stable, flat surface with adequate ventilation around the unit. Ensure the power cord can reach a suitable electrical outlet without strain.
  3. Hononga Hiko: Plug the laminator into a grounded electrical outlet.
  4. Power On and Warm-up: Turn on the laminator using the power switch. The unit typically takes 4 to 8 minutes to warm up. A "ready" light or indicator on the LCD display will signal when the machine has reached the optimal operating temperature.
  5. Setting Temperature and Speed: Use the one-touch keypad with LCD display to set the desired temperature and speed. The laminator offers variable temperature and speed control to accommodate different pouch thicknesses and material types. For general use, a speed of 3 and a temperature of 285°F are often recommended, but adjust as needed for your specific laminating pouches and documents.

  1. Prepare Document: Place your document or mounting board inside a thermal laminating pouch. Ensure the document is centered and there is a small margin around the edges.
  2. Insert Pouch: Once the laminator is warmed up and set to the correct temperature and speed, carefully feed the sealed edge of the laminating pouch into the laminator's entry slot. The machine's rollers will automatically pull the pouch through.
  3. Lamination Process: Allow the laminator to complete the process. The four rollers are designed to provide bubble-free results.
  4. Matao: After the pouch exits the laminator, place it on a flat surface to cool and harden.
  5. Lamination Matao: For pressure-sensitive pouches, utilize the cold setting available on the control panel for smooth lamination results without heat.
