4. Tatūnga

- Mana: This telephone operates without external power. It draws power directly from the telephone line.
- Ringer Setting: Locate the Ringer ON/OFF switch, usually on the side or back of the unit. Set it to "ON" for the phone to ring.

5.4 Speed Dialing (M1, M2, M3, and 0-9)
Programming Speed Dial Numbers:
- Hikina te ringaringa ka tohi ranei WHAKAARO.
- Pehia te POKOHOKO pātene.
- Dial the telephone number you wish to store (up to 16 digits).
- Pehia te POKOHOKO pātene ano.
- Press the desired memory location button (M1, M2, M3 for one-touch, or a numeric key 0-9 for regular speed dial).
- Replace the handset or press WHAKAARO ki te puta i te aratau hotaka.
Using Speed Dial Numbers:
- Hikina te ringaringa ka tohi ranei WHAKAARO.
- For one-touch speed dial, press the desired memory button (M1, M2, or M3). The number will dial automatically.
- For regular speed dial, press the AUTO button, then press the desired numeric key (0-9). The number will dial automatically.

5.7 Flash Button
Ko te Kohiko button is used to access network services such as call waiting or call transfer, depending on your telephone service provider. Press Kohiko briefly during a call to activate these services.
5.8 Mana Rōrahi
- Rōrahi Kaiwhiwhi: Adjust the volume of the handset receiver using the slider or button located on the side of the handset or base unit.
- Rōrahi Waeaorooro: Adjust the speakerphone volume using the dedicated volume control (if available) or by pressing the volume buttons during a speakerphone call.
5.9 Ringer On/Off Switch
To silence the telephone ringer, locate the Ringer ON/OFF switch (typically on the side or back of the unit) and slide it to the "OFF" position. Slide it to "ON" to enable the ringer.
