Proper installation of the FM138 vehicle sensor is crucial for optimal performance. The sensor is designed for direct burial and should be placed parallel to your driveway.

  3. Takotoranga Pūoko: Ensure the sensor is laid flat and parallel to the driveway within the trench.
  4. Waea waea: Connect the sensor's cable directly to the appropriate terminals in your Mighty Mule Automatic Gate Opener control box. Refer to your specific gate opener's manual for detailed wiring diagrams. Ensure all connections are secure and waterproof.
  5. Whakamātautau: After installation, test the sensor by driving a vehicle past its magnetic field to confirm the gate opens automatically.
