This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your Moen Refresh 9-Inch Single Function Rainshower with 7-Function Handshower. This shower system is designed to enhance your showering experience with its versatile features and durable chrome finish.
The system includes a large 9-inch diameter rain shower head for broad water coverage and a multi-function hand shower with a kink-free hose for extended reach and varied spray settings. The chrome finish is engineered to resist corrosion and tarnishing, ensuring lasting aesthetic appeal.

4. Tatūnga me te Tāuta
Installation requires a ½” IPS connection. Follow these steps for proper installation:
- Whakaritea te Ringa Kaukau: Ensure the existing shower arm is clean and free of debris. Apply plumber's tape to the threads of the shower arm.
- Whakapirihia te Taiapa Whakaeke: Screw the mounting bracket onto the shower arm. Hand-tighten, then use a wrench to tighten an additional ¼ to ½ turn. Do not overtighten.
- Honoa te Hose: Attach one end of the kink-free metal hose to the handshower and the other end to the designated port on the mounting bracket. Ensure washers are in place and hand-tighten.
- Install the Rainshower Head: Screw the 9-inch rainshower head onto the remaining threaded connection on the mounting bracket. Hand-tighten.
- Place the Handshower: Insert the handshower into its holder on the mounting bracket.
- Whakamātautau mō ngā turuturu: Turn on the main water supply and check all connections for leaks. Tighten any leaking connections slightly until leaks stop.

5. Nga Tohutohu Whakahaere
The Moen Refresh shower system offers flexible showering options:
- Main Shower Head: The large 9-inch rainshower head provides a consistent, wide spray for a full-body experience.
- Handshower Functions: The handshower features 7 distinct spray settings. Rotate the dial on the handshower face to cycle through these settings, which may include:
- Rehu Katoa
- Massage Spray
- Rinse Spray
- Combination Sprays
- Pause/Trickle
- Whakawhiti Rere: A diverter lever or knob on the mounting bracket allows you to switch water flow between the main rainshower head, the handshower, or both simultaneously.

6. Tiaki me te Whakapai
To maintain the appearance and performance of your Moen Refresh shower system:
- Whakapai auau: Horoia te whakaotinga chrome i ia wā ki te wai ngohengohe,amp cloth. For stubborn spots, use a mild soap and water solution. Rinse thoroughly and dry with a soft cloth to prevent water spots.
- A ape i nga kaihoroi kino: Do not use abrasive cleaners, ammonia-based products, or cleaners containing bleach, as these can damage the finish and internal components.
- Horoi pupuha: The spray nozzles are designed for easy cleaning. If mineral deposits accumulate, gently rub the rubber nozzles with your finger or a soft brush to dislodge them.
- Tiaki ngongo: Periodically check the handshower hose for kinks or damage. The kink-free design helps prevent common hose issues.
