2. Nga Korero Haumaru Nui
Please read these safety instructions carefully before installing or operating the Altronix R2416300UL power supply. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or damage to the unit.
- Mōrea o te Ru Hiko: Do not open the unit. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel.
- Whakakapinga Fuse: For continued protection against fire, replace all fuses with the same type and rating (3.5A, 250V).
- Nga Tikanga Taiao: Do not expose the unit to rain or moisture. Install in a dry, indoor location.

3. Tatūnga me te Tāuta
3.1. Te wetewete
Carefully remove the power supply from its packaging. Verify that all components are present: the R2416300UL unit, line cord, spare fuse, removable terminal blocks, and mounting brackets.
3.2. Whakapiki
The R2416300UL is designed for rack mounting. Use the provided mounting brackets to secure the unit into a standard 19-inch equipment rack. Ensure the rack is stable and provides adequate support for the unit's weight (approximately 17.2 pounds).
3.3. Input Power Connection
- Ensure the power switch on the rear of the unit is in the "OFF" position.
- Connect the supplied line cord to the AC input receptacle on the rear of the power supply.
- Plug the other end of the line cord into a grounded 115VAC, 60Hz power outlet.

3.4. Hononga Huaputa
The R2416300UL provides 16 individually fused 24VAC or 28VAC outputs. Each output is equipped with a removable terminal block for easy wiring.
- Identify the desired output terminal block (labeled 1 through 16).
- Connect your device's power input wires to the corresponding terminals on the removable block. Ensure correct polarity if applicable to your device.
- Securely insert the wired terminal block into its receptacle on the power supply.
- Repeat for all devices requiring power.

4.1. Te Whakakaha/Weto
- To power on the unit, flip the power switch on the rear panel to the "ON" position.
- To power off the unit, flip the power switch on the rear panel to the "OFF" position.
4.2. Output Indicators
The front panel of the R2416300UL features 16 green LED indicators, one for each output. A lit green LED indicates that the corresponding output is receiving power and the fuse is intact.

5. Tiaki
5.1. Tiaki Whānui
- Keep the unit clean and free from dust. Use a dry, soft cloth for cleaning.

5.2. Whakakapinga Fuse
If an output LED is off, the corresponding fuse may be blown. To replace a fuse:
- Weto Whakakore: Disconnect the unit from the main power supply by unplugging the line cord.
- Tāutuhia te Fiusi Pupuhi: Locate the fuse holder for the affected output on the rear panel.
- Remove Fuse: Tangohia marietia te fuse kua pakū.
- Tāutahia he Fiusi Hou: Replace it with a new fuse of the exact same type and rating: 3.5A, 250V. Using an incorrect fuse can cause damage or fire.
- Whakaora i te Mana: Reconnect the unit to the main power supply and turn it on. Verify the output LED illuminates.
