  2. Connect one end of the Ethernet cable to any LAN port on the Q1000 and the other end to your computer's Ethernet port.
  3. Connect the power adapter to the Power port on the Q1000 and plug the other end into a power outlet.
  4. Wait for the Power, DSL, and Internet LEDs to turn solid green, indicating a successful connection.

4.2 Whirihoranga Tuatahi (Web Atanga)

To configure your modem router, access its web-atanga whakahaere i runga:

  3. You may be prompted for a username and password. Refer to the label on the bottom of your device for default credentials.

Follow the on-screen wizard or navigate to the appropriate sections to enter your ISP details (e.g., PPP User Name, ISP Protocol) and configure your wireless network (SSID, password, security type).

5. Mahi

To customize your Wi-Fi settings:

If you encounter persistent issues or forget your login credentials, you can perform a factory reset:

  • With the modem router powered on, locate the small Tautuhi Anō button on the back or bottom of the device.
  • Use a paperclip or a similar pointed object to press and hold the button for approximately 10 seconds.
  • Release the button when the LEDs flash or the device reboots.
  • The modem router will revert to its original factory settings, and you will need to reconfigure it.
