Use appropriate wire gauges for the current rating (25A) and ensure all terminal screws are tightened to the manufacturer's specified torque to prevent loose connections and overheating.

The Hager ESC225 Contactor operates by an electromagnetic coil. When the specified control voltage (230V AC) is applied to the coil terminals (A1, A2), the coil energizes, creating a magnetic field that pulls the armature, causing the normally open (NO) main contacts to close. This completes the circuit to the connected load.
