4. Tohutohu Tatūnga

Follow these steps for quick and easy assembly. It is recommended that two people perform the setup process.

  1. Wetekina te Anga: Remove the folded frame from the roller bag and place it in the center of your desired setup area.
  2. Partially Open the Frame: With a person at opposite corners, gently pull the frame outwards until it is partially open. Do not fully extend yet.
  3. Tāpirihia te tihi o te tuanui: Drape the canopy top over the partially opened frame. Secure the corners of the canopy top to the frame's corner legs using the hook-and-loop fasteners.
  4. Whakaroahia te Tapare: Continue pulling the frame outwards until it is fully extended. Ensure the truss bars are straight and the frame is stable.
  5. Maukati te Tāpare: Locate the pull-pin mechanisms on each leg. Push the pull-pin in and slide the leg upwards until the pin locks into the desired height adjustment hole. Repeat for all four legs.

  6. Whakaorangia te Pouaka: Use the provided stake kit to anchor the canopy to the ground. Insert stakes through the footplates at the base of each leg and into the ground. Attach ropes to the canopy's D-rings and secure them to additional stakes further out from the canopy for added stability.
