- Attach Fountainhead/Hose:
- For fountain displays, attach the desired fountainhead (3-Tier or Waterbell) to the extendable riser stem. Adjust the riser stem for your preferred height and use the pivoting joint to ensure the fountainhead is vertically level.
- For waterfalls or filtration systems, use the Click-Fit couplings to connect appropriate hoses to the pump's outlet.
- Tūhono Apatoko: If using, connect a garden hose to the unique backwash feature or utilize the remote filter outlet for additional filtration.
- Hononga Hiko: Ensure your hands are dry. Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet. The pump is designed for continuous operation.

4. Mahi
Once installed and powered, the Laguna PowerJet pump will begin circulating water. The dual flow control diverter valve allows you to independently adjust the water flow to the fountainhead and any connected waterfall or filtration system. Rotate the valve controls to achieve your desired water flow and display intensity.
The pump is designed to run continuously. Monitor the water level in your pond to ensure the pump remains fully submerged during operation to prevent damage.
5. Tiaki
Regular maintenance is crucial for prolonging the life and ensuring the optimal performance of your PowerJet Pond Pump. Follow these procedures:
- Weekly Cleaning (Strainer): Depending on pond conditions and debris levels, remove and clean the pump's strainer once a week. This prevents large debris from entering the pump and maintains efficient water intake.
- Monthly Cleaning (Impeller Assembly): Approximately once a month, remove and thoroughly clean the impeller assembly. Inspect for any buildup of lime scale or other deposits, which can significantly impair pump performance. Also, check the impeller well for cleanliness.

Under this warranty, PowerJet Pond Pumps will be repaired or replaced at the manufacturer's discretion, free of charge.
