Follow these steps to properly install the Werner 40-2HD Caster Kit onto your compatible stepladder.

  1. Whakapaia te arawhata: Ensure the ladder is clean and free of debris. If replacing existing casters, carefully remove the old units and any remaining hardware.
  2. Tautuhia nga Waahanga: Separate the caster assemblies, shoe feet pads, and all mounting hardware.

  3. Attach Caster Brackets: Position one aluminum caster bracket onto the bottom rung of the ladder leg. Ensure the bracket aligns with the pre-drilled holes on the ladder.
  4. Haumaru me nga taputapu: Insert the provided screws through the bracket and ladder leg, securing them with nuts and washers. Tighten all hardware firmly using appropriate tools, but do not overtighten.

  5. Install Shoe Feet Pads: If applicable, install the shoe feet pads onto the bottom of the ladder legs that do not receive casters, or as replacements for existing pads.
  6. Repeat for Second Caster: Follow steps 3-5 for the second caster assembly on the opposite ladder leg.
  7. Taki Whakamutunga: Once both casters are installed, gently test the ladder's mobility and stability. Ensure all hardware is tight and the casters roll smoothly.
