Clock Time Issues
If the clock on your radio frequently loses or gains time, it may be due to incorrect time signals from certain radio stations broadcasting RDS-CT. To resolve this, you can manually set the clock:
- With the radio powered off, press and hold the 'Menu/Info' button until it beeps.
- Rotate the tuning knob until 'RDS-CT' is displayed. If 'Manual' is shown, do not change it.
- Press and release the tuning knob.
- Rotate the tuning knob until 'Manual' is displayed.
- Press and release the tuning knob.
- Rotate the tuning knob until 'Time Set' is displayed and proceed to set the time as instructed in the manual.
Te Manawao Irirangi
Ensure the FM wire antenna is fully extended and properly positioned. For AM, try rotating the radio or connecting an external AM antenna if available. Check for sources of interference such as other electronic devices.
