This manual provides instructions for the setup, operation, and maintenance of the Polycom VVX 600 IP Phone. The Polycom VVX 600 is a business media phone designed for enhanced communication and productivity.

3. Tatūnga

- Attach the desk stand to the back of the phone unit.
- Connect the handset cord to the handset and the handset port on the phone.

The VVX 600 supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) for both power and network connectivity. If PoE is not available, an optional AC power adapter is required.
- Hononga PoE: Connect one end of the Ethernet cable to the LAN port on the phone and the other end to a PoE-enabled network switch or injector.
- Hononga Kore-PoE:
- Connect the optional AC power adapter to the power port on the phone and then to a power outlet.

3.3 Whirihoranga Tuatahi
Upon first power-up, the phone will attempt to connect to the network and provision itself. This process may involve downloading firmware and configuration files from your network server. Follow any on-screen prompts.
For advanced configuration, such as SIP registration or specific network settings, access the phone's web interface using its IP address. Consult your network administrator for specific details.
4. Te Whakahaere i te Waea
4.1 Ngā Mahi Waea Taketake
- Te Waea: Pick up the handset or press the Speakerphone button, then dial the number and press the Dial soft key or #.
- Whakautu i te Karanga: Pick up the handset or press the Speakerphone button when the phone rings.
- Whakamutua te Waea: Whakairihia te ringaringa, pehia ranei te paatene ngawari Whakamutunga Waea.
- Wahangu: Pēhia te pātene Whakangū hei whakangū i tō hopuoro i te wā e waea ana. Pēhia anō hei whakakore i te whakangū.
- Mana Rōrahi: Use the volume buttons to adjust handset, headset, or speakerphone volume during a call, or ringer volume when idle.

- 16 Lines (Registrations): The phone supports up to 16 line registrations, allowing for multiple lines or accounts.
- Flexible Line Appearance: One or more line keys can be assigned for each line extension, providing flexibility in managing calls.

- Local Three-Way Audio Conferencing: Initiate a three-way conference call directly from your phone.

To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your Polycom VVX 600 IP Phone, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Te horoi: Use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to clean the phone's surface and screen. Avoid abrasive cleaners, solvents, or aerosol sprays.
- Taiao: Operate the phone in a clean, dry environment, away from direct sunlight, excessive heat, and moisture.
