- Wewete: Carefully remove all bottles and lids from the packaging.
- Tirotiro: Check all components for any signs of damage or defects. Do not use if damaged.
- Ma: Before first use, wash all bottle components (bottles and lids) in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly.
- Whakakore: Sanitize the components by boiling them in water for 5 minutes, using a Medela Quick Clean Micro-Steam Bag, or a dishwasher with a sanitizing cycle. Allow to air dry completely.

Breast Milk Collection
- Ensure the bottle is clean and sanitized.
- Attach the Medela bottle directly to your compatible Medela breast pump.
- Begin pumping. Milk will collect directly into the bottle.
- Monitor the volume using the clear markings on the side of the bottle.
- Once pumping is complete, carefully detach the bottle from the pump.

- After collection, securely screw the solid yellow lid onto the bottle. Ensure it is tightened to prevent leaks.
