The Parkside PES 200 B1 is designed for removing stubborn residues such as wallpaper, adhesive, paint, silicone, and foam from various surfaces. It is also suitable for light wood carving tasks.

3.2 Included Attachments
The Parkside PES 200 B1 comes with 5 versatile attachments for various applications:
- Flat Spatula Attachment: Ideal for removing paint residues, silicone, and foams.
- Angled Knife/Scraper Attachment: Suitable for removing carpets, plaster residues, or unevenness.
- Flat Knife/Scraper Attachment: For removing carpets, felt, cork, plaster, adhesive, and plaster residues.
- Flat Chisel Attachment: For carving in wood.
- 13mm Gouge Attachment: Specifically for carving in softwoods.

4. Tatūnga
4.1 Attaching/Changing Tool Inserts
- Ensure the electric scraper is unplugged from the power source.
- Locate the quick-change mechanism at the front of the tool.
- To insert an attachment, align the base of the desired tool insert with the quick-change mechanism and push it firmly until it clicks into place.
- To remove an attachment, pull back the quick-change collar (if present) or press the release button, then pull the attachment out.
- Always ensure the attachment is securely seated before operating the tool.

- To turn the tool ON, press the On/Off switch.

5.2 Adjusting Stroke Rate
The PES 200 B1 offers three stroke rate settings for optimal performance on different materials:
- Tautuhinga 1: Approximately 6,500 strokes/min (for delicate surfaces or lighter removal tasks).
- Tautuhinga 2: Approximately 7,500 strokes/min (for general purpose removal).
- Tautuhinga 3: Approximately 8,500 strokes/min (for stubborn residues and robust materials).
Use the stroke rate selection switch to choose the appropriate setting before starting work. Experiment on a scrap piece of material to find the best setting for your task.
5.3 Working with the Scraper
- Select the appropriate attachment for the material you are working on (refer to Section 3.2).
- Plug the tool into a suitable power outlet.
- Hold the tool firmly with both hands, utilizing the rubberized grip area.
- Place the attachment flat against the surface to be worked on.
- Turn on the tool and apply gentle, even pressure. Allow the tool's vibrations to do the work.
- Move the tool steadily across the surface, overlapping strokes slightly to ensure complete removal.
- For wood carving, use the chisel or gouge attachments and apply controlled movements to shape the wood.
- After use, turn off the tool and unplug it from the power source.
6. Tiaki
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your electric scraper.
