4.2 Horizontal Assembly (Workstation/Low Storage)
For a wider, lower storage solution or a workbench configuration, the unit can be assembled horizontally. This typically involves creating two shorter, interconnected units.
- Divide Components: Separate the upright posts and shelves into two sets for two shorter units.
- Assemble First Section: Follow steps 4.1.1 to 4.1.3 to assemble a shorter unit (e.g., 2 or 3 shelves high).
- Assemble Second Section: Repeat the process for the second shorter unit.
- Join Units: Utilize the integrated joining system to connect the two shorter units side-by-side, forming a single, wider horizontal structure. Ensure the connection points are fully engaged.
