5.3. Lockable Paper Chamber
To secure sensitive documents during auto-feed shredding, utilize the lockable paper chamber:
- Load documents into the auto-feed tray.
- Close the lid and engage the 4-digit programmable PIN code lock. This prevents unauthorized access to documents while they are awaiting shredding.
- The shredder will process the documents once the lock is disengaged or the shredding cycle is complete.
5.4. Waste Bin Management
The shredder features an 11-gallon pull-out waste bin:
- Monitor the waste bin full indicator to know when it needs emptying.
- When full, pull out the waste bin, remove the shredded contents, and replace the bag.
- Ensure the bin is fully reinserted for the shredder to operate.

6.1. Self-Cleaning Cutters
The shredder is equipped with self-cleaning cutters that automatically remove shred build-up. No user intervention is typically required for this feature.
6.2. Oiling the Shredder
To maintain cutting performance and reduce noise, it is recommended to oil the shredder regularly, especially after emptying the waste bin multiple times or after heavy use. Use a shredder-specific oil sheet or liquid shredder oil applied across the manual feed slot.

- Power Save feature: The shredder includes an automatic shut-down feature to conserve energy. If the shredder enters power save mode, simply press any button or feed paper to reactivate it.
