Setup Before First Use

  1. Ine raihi: Use the provided measuring cup to measure the desired amount of rice. One full cup of uncooked rice typically yields two cups of cooked rice.
  2. Horoi raihi: For best results and to prevent sticking, rinse the rice thoroughly under cold water until the water runs clear.
  3. Tāpiri raihi me te wai: Place the washed rice into the removable non-stick bowl. Add the appropriate amount of water according to the cooking guide below.
  4. Katia te taupoki: Place the transparent lid securely on the rice cooker. Ensure the steam vent is not blocked.

  6. Tīmata te tunu: Push the function switch down to the "COOK" position. The red "COOK" indicator light will illuminate.
