Setup Before First Use

- Ine raihi: Use the provided measuring cup to measure the desired amount of rice. One full cup of uncooked rice typically yields two cups of cooked rice.
- Horoi raihi: For best results and to prevent sticking, rinse the rice thoroughly under cold water until the water runs clear.
- Tāpiri raihi me te wai: Place the washed rice into the removable non-stick bowl. Add the appropriate amount of water according to the cooking guide below.
- Katia te taupoki: Place the transparent lid securely on the rice cooker. Ensure the steam vent is not blocked.
- Hono Hono: Monohia te taura hiko ki tetahi putanga hiko pai.
- Tīmata te tunu: Push the function switch down to the "COOK" position. The red "COOK" indicator light will illuminate.
- Whakawera Aunoa: Once the rice is cooked, the appliance will automatically switch to the "WARM" function. The red "COOK" light will turn off, and the orange "WARM" light will illuminate.
- Okioki, ā, Tuku: For optimal results, allow the rice to rest on the "WARM" setting for 5-10 minutes after cooking is complete. Then, open the lid carefully (steam will escape), fluff the rice with the serving spatula, and serve.
- Wetewete: After serving, unplug the rice cooker from the power outlet.
