4. Tatūnga me nga Hononga
- Hononga Hiko: Connect the supplied 18V DC power adapter to the "18V DC" input on the rear panel. Plug the adapter into a suitable power outlet.
- Hononga Kita: Plug your guitar into the "INPUT" jack on the front panel using a standard 1/4" instrument cable.
- Hononga Tukuoro: Connect the "SPEAKER OUTPUT" on the rear panel to your speaker cabinet using a speaker cable. Ensure your speaker cabinet has an impedance between 4 and 16 ohms. - Headphones/Line Out (Optional): For silent practice or direct recording, connect headphones or a recording interface to the "PHONES/LINE OUTPUT" jack. This will mute the speaker output.
- AUX Input (Optional): To play along with backing tracks, connect your external audio device (e.g., smartphone, MP3 player) to the "AUX IN" jack using a 1/8" stereo cable.
- Porowhita FX (Whiringa): To integrate external effects pedals, connect the "FX LOOP SEND" to the input of your effects pedal and the output of your effects pedal to the "FX LOOP RETURN".

- Whakahiko: Ensure all connections are secure, then flip the "ON/OFF" switch to the ON position. The power indicator light will illuminate.
- Tautuhinga Tuatahi: Start with the "VOLUME" and "GAIN" knobs set to their minimum positions (fully counter-clockwise). Set the "BASS", "MIDDLE", and "TREBLE" knobs to the 12 o'clock position (neutral).
- Whakaritea te Whiwhi: Slowly increase the "GAIN" knob to achieve your desired level of overdrive or distortion. Higher gain settings will produce more saturated tones.

- BASS: Adjust for low-end warmth and fullness.
- WAENGANUI: Adjust for presence and cut in the mix. Lowering mids can create a "scooped" sound, while boosting them can make your guitar stand out.
- TREBLE: Adjust for brightness and clarity.
- Weto Whakakore: Before disconnecting any cables or the power supply, turn the "VOLUME" knob down and then flip the "ON/OFF" switch to the OFF position.
