The Mitel 5330e IP Phone is an executive-class communication device designed for advanced business environments. It features dual integrated gigabit Ethernet ports for high-speed network connectivity. 1. Te Wetewete me te Tirotiro Tuatahi
Carefully remove the Mitel 5330e IP Phone and all accessories from the packaging. Verify that all components are present: the phone unit, handset, coiled handset cord, and Ethernet cable.
2. Te Hono i te Waea
- Honoa te Pukoro: Connect one end of the coiled handset cord to the handset and the other end to the handset port located on the left side of the phone base.
- Hono atu ki te Whatunga: Connect one end of the Ethernet cable to the LAN port on the back of the phone. Connect the other end to an active Ethernet port on your network switch or router. The Mitel 5330e supports Power over Ethernet (PoE), which means the phone can receive power directly through the Ethernet cable if your network infrastructure supports it, eliminating the need for a separate power adapter.
- Hononga Hiko Kōwhiringa: If your network does not support PoE, an optional Mitel-approved power adapter (sold separately) is required. Connect the power adapter to the power port on the back of the phone and plug it into a standard electrical outlet.

- Twelve fixed function keys: hold, settings, message, speaker, mute, transfer/conference, redial, cancel, volume/ringing/contrast up and down, previous page, and next page.

The Mitel 5330e features twenty-four programmable, multi-functional, self-labeling keys, accessible across three pages (8 keys per page). These keys can be configured for speed dialing, line appearances, or feature access. Use the Whārangi o mua a Whārangi Panuku fixed function keys to navigate between pages and access all programmed functions.
Whakaahei ana ki te Hokoorooro
Pehia te Karere button (typically an envelope icon) to access your voicemail. Follow the audio prompts to retrieve messages, set up your greeting, or manage voicemail settings.
Te Whakarite Rōrahi
Whakamahia te Rōrahi Whakarunga a Rōrahi Whakararo fixed function keys to adjust the handset, speaker, or ringer volume during a call or when the phone is idle.
Mahi Wahangu
Pehia te Wahangu button to mute your microphone during an active call. The other party will not hear you. Press it again to unmute.
Transfer/Conference
I te wa e piihia ana te waea, pehia te Transfer/Conference button. Dial the number to transfer to or add to the conference. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the transfer or establish the conference call.

To clean the phone, use a soft, slightly damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, solvents, or strong chemical solutions, as these can damage the phone's surface and electronic components. Ensure the phone is disconnected from power before cleaning.
