- EFFECT SELECTOR KNOB: This knob selects the desired drop tune interval when the effect is active. Settings range from 1 semitone to a full octave, including an octave with dry signal blend.
- MOMENTARY ON/OFF SWITCH: This toggle switch determines the operation mode of the footswitch.
- Ina whakaritea ki ON, the footswitch acts as a momentary switch. The effect is active only while the footswitch is pressed and held. Releasing the footswitch bypasses the effect.
- Ina whakaritea ki WATE, the footswitch acts as a latching switch. Pressing the footswitch toggles the effect on or off.
- LED WHAKAMAHI: Illuminates when the effect is active.
- TRUE BYPASS FOOTSWITCH: Engages or bypasses the effect based on the MOMENTARY ON/OFF switch setting.

Follow these steps to connect your DigiTech DROP pedal:
- Hononga Hiko: Connect the included 9VDC power supply to the power input jack on the pedal and then to an appropriate AC outlet.
- Hononga Whakauru: Connect your guitar or the output of a preceding pedal to the IN jack on the DigiTech DROP pedal using a standard 1/4-inch instrument cable.
- Hononga Huaputa: Honoa te KI WAHO jack of the DigiTech DROP pedal to your amplifier or the input of the next pedal in your signal chain using a standard 1/4-inch instrument cable.

- Choose Footswitch Mode: Whakaritea te MOMENTARY ON/OFF SWITCH ki ranei ON for momentary operation or WATE for latching operation.
- Engage/Bypass Effect: Pehia te TINO PATAI WAEWAE to activate or deactivate the selected drop tune effect according to the chosen footswitch mode. The EFFECT LED will indicate when the effect is active.
