Follow these steps to connect your DigiTech DROP pedal:

  1. Hononga Hiko: Connect the included 9VDC power supply to the power input jack on the pedal and then to an appropriate AC outlet.
  2. Hononga Whakauru: Connect your guitar or the output of a preceding pedal to the IN jack on the DigiTech DROP pedal using a standard 1/4-inch instrument cable.
  3. Hononga Huaputa: Honoa te KI WAHO jack of the DigiTech DROP pedal to your amplifier or the input of the next pedal in your signal chain using a standard 1/4-inch instrument cable.

Operating the DigiTech DROP pedal involves selecting your desired pitch shift and choosing the footswitch mode.

    • 6: Transposes guitar signal down 6 semitones (a tritone).

    • OCT: Transposes guitar signal down a full octave.
    • OCT + DRY: Transposes guitar signal down a full octave and blends it with the original dry signal.
  2. Choose Footswitch Mode: Whakaritea te MOMENTARY ON/OFF SWITCH ki ranei ON for momentary operation or WATE for latching operation.
  3. Engage/Bypass Effect: Pehia te TINO PATAI WAEWAE to activate or deactivate the selected drop tune effect according to the chosen footswitch mode. The EFFECT LED will indicate when the effect is active.
