Follow these steps to properly install the ROBIN brush cutter/strimmer head onto your compatible power unit.

  1. Ensure Power Unit is Off: Before beginning installation, ensure your brush cutter or strimmer power unit is turned off and the spark plug cap is disconnected to prevent accidental starting.

  4. Secure Tightness: Use a wrench or appropriate tool to securely tighten the strimmer head onto the shaft. Refer to your power unit's manual for specific torque recommendations if available. The silver cap on the head typically indicates the tightening direction.
  5. Install Cutting Line:
    • Cut a length of appropriate strimmer line (refer to your power unit's specifications for diameter).
    • Locate the eyelets on the strimmer head.
    • Feed one end of the line through one eyelet and out the other, ensuring an equal length of line extends from both sides.
    • Some heads may require winding the line onto an internal spool. Follow the specific instructions for your head type if it differs from a simple pass-through.
  6. Manatokohia te Tāutatanga: Gently tug on the strimmer head and cutting line to ensure they are firmly attached and there is no excessive wobble.
