The Argon OCTAVE 4A are high-quality active speakers designed to deliver excellent audio performance with versatile connectivity options. This manual provides essential information for setting up, operating, and maintaining your speakers to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

2. Nga waahanga matua
- Bluetooth 4.0 with aptX: For high-quality wireless audio streaming.
- Ngā Tāuru Maha: Two optical digital (Toslink), one RCA stereo, and one Aux (3.5mm mini jack stereo) input.
- Whakauru AmpKaiwhakaora: Te akomanga D amplifier with 2 x 35 watts (RMS) output.

3. Tatūnga
3.1 Te Whakanohonga Kaikorero
For optimal sound quality, place the speakers on a stable, flat surface. Ensure there is adequate space around the speakers for proper ventilation. Position them equidistant from your listening position, forming an equilateral triangle for the best stereo imaging.
3.2 Te Mana Hononga
- Ensure the speakers are turned off.
- Connect the supplied power cable to the main speaker's power input.
- Plug the power cable into a suitable wall outlet.
3.3 Te Hono i nga Puna Ororongo
The OCTAVE 4A offers multiple input options:
- Nihokikorangi: For wireless connection from smartphones, tablets, or computers.
- Optical (Toslink): Connect digital audio sources like TVs, game consoles, or CD players.
- RCA Stereo: For analog audio sources such as turntables (with a pre-amp), CD players, or other audio devices.
- Aux (3.5mm Mini Jack): For portable devices like MP3 players or older smartphones.

3.4 Hononga Wūruiti
To enhance bass performance, connect an active subwoofer to the dedicated subwoofer output on the rear of the main speaker using an RCA cable.
4. Nga Tohutohu Whakahaere
4.1 Power On/Off and Auto On/Off
The speakers feature an auto on/off function. They will automatically power on when an audio signal is detected on the selected input and enter standby mode after a period of inactivity. Manual power control is typically via a button or knob on the front or rear panel.
Note: When using optical or Bluetooth input, the standby power consumption is approximately 2.2 watts. For other inputs, it is less than 0.5 watts.
4.2 Kōwhiringa Tāuru
Use the input control (usually a knob or button) on the front or rear of the main speaker to cycle through the available audio inputs (Bluetooth, Optical 1, Optical 2, RCA, Aux).
4.3 Takirua Nihokikorangi
- Select the Bluetooth input on the speakers. The Bluetooth indicator will typically blink.
- On your device (smartphone, tablet), enable Bluetooth and search for "Argon OCTAVE 4A" (or similar).
- Select the speakers from the list to pair. Once paired, the indicator will usually turn solid.
4.4 Whakapaa USB
A USB port (5V/1A) is available for charging compatible external devices. This port is for charging only and does not support audio playback.
5. Tiaki
To keep your Argon OCTAVE 4A speakers in optimal condition:
- Te horoi: Whakamahia he kakahu ngohengohe, maroke hei muru i ngā mata o te kaikorero. Āta karohia ngā kaihoroi whakakoi, ngā whakarewa rānei.
- Puehu: Regularly dust the grilles and cabinet to prevent accumulation.
- Whakahau: Me whakarite kia kaua e araia nga whakatuwheratanga kia kore e wera rawa.
- Taiao: Avoid exposing speakers to extreme temperatures, humidity, or direct sunlight.
