The Lepro 12V LED Strip Light provides flexible, warm white illumination for various indoor applications. This non-waterproof strip features SMD 2835 LEDs, offering high brightness and low power consumption. It is designed for easy installation with a self-adhesive backing and can be cut and reconnected to fit specific lengths.

2. Aratohu Haumaru

Please read and understand all safety instructions before installation and use. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or other hazards.

  • Tuku Hiko: Only use a 12V DC power adapter. Do not use power adapters higher than 12V, as this will damage the LED strip and pose a safety risk. Ensure the total wattage of the LED strip lights does not exceed the maximum wattage of your power adapter.
  • Whakamahi Roto anake: This product is non-waterproof and designed for indoor use only. Avoid exposure to water, moisture, or high humidity.
  • Mata Tāuta: Ensure the installation surface is clean, dry, and smooth to ensure proper adhesion.
  • Tapahi: Only cut the LED strip at designated cut marks (every 3 LEDs). Cutting elsewhere will damage the circuit and render that section unusable.
  • wera: While LED strips generate minimal heat, ensure proper ventilation around the installed strip. Do not cover the strip with materials that could trap heat.
  • Tamariki: Te mahi voltage is 12V DC, making it safe to touch. However, keep small components and packaging materials away from children.

3.3 Mounting the Strip Light

The LED strip features a self-adhesive backing for easy mounting. If you need to adjust the length, the strip can be cut at specific points.

  1. Prepare for Adhesion: Peel off a small section of the protective film from the self-adhesive backing at one end of the strip.
  2. Tāpirihia te Rīpene: Carefully press the exposed adhesive section onto your cleaned surface. Gradually peel off more of the protective film while pressing the strip firmly along your desired path.
  3. Te tapahi (mehemea e tika ana): If the strip is too long, locate the designated cut marks, typically indicated by a copper pad and a scissor icon. Use sharp scissors to cut precisely along this line. The strip can be cut every 3 LEDs (approximately 2 inches).
  4. Reconnection (optional): If you cut the strip and wish to reconnect sections or connect to other accessories, 2-pin 8mm connectors (not included) are required.

Operating the Lepro 12V LED Strip Light is straightforward once installed:

  • Hiko Whakaka/Weto: Connect the 12V DC power adapter to a power outlet to turn the lights on. Disconnect or use a switch on your power adapter (if available) to turn them off.
  • Tirohanga: This specific model of LED strip light is kaore e taea te atarua. It operates at a fixed brightness when powered on.

5. Tiaki me te Tiaki

Proper care ensures the longevity and performance of your LED strip lights:

  • Te horoi: If cleaning is necessary, ensure the power is disconnected. Gently wipe the strip with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
  • Rokiroki: If removing the strip for storage, carefully peel it off the surface. Roll it loosely back onto its original reel or a similar spool to prevent kinking or damage. Store in a cool, dry place.
