Tatūnga
Hononga Mana
- Ensure the oscilloscope is turned off.
- Honoa te taura hiko kua whakaratohia ki te tāuru hiko kei te papa o muri o te oscilloscope.
- Monohia tetahi pito o te taura hiko ki tētahi putanga hiko AC kua whenua.
Probe Connection and Compensation
- Connect the probe to one of the BNC input channels (CH1-CH4) on the front panel.
- Attach the probe clip to the probe compensation test point (usually a square wave output) on the front panel.
- Whakakāhia te oscilloscope.
- Adjust the probe compensation using a small screwdriver on the probe body until a flat-top square wave is displayed on the screen. This ensures accurate measurements.

Multiple waveform display.

Single pulse waveform analysis.

Rising and falling edge signals.

Decoded serial data display.

Amplitude modulated waveform.

Complex multi-channel signal.

Lissajous figures for phase analysis.
Whakatairanga
Triggering is crucial for stable waveform display. Use the trigger controls to set the trigger type (Edge, Pulse, Slope, Video, etc.), source (CH1-CH4, AC Line, External), and level. The DS1054Z supports advanced triggering options to capture specific events.
Waveform Display and Analysis
The UltraVision technology provides a deeper memory (12 Mpts, upgradable to 24 Mpts) and a high waveform capture rate (up to 30,000 wfms/s), allowing for the capture of transient events and detailed signal analysis. The multi-level intensity grading display helps visualize signal variations over time.
