3. Tatūnga
The Type Cover connects to your Surface Pro via a magnetic connection. Follow these steps for initial setup:
- Align the magnetic connector on the Type Cover with the corresponding port on the bottom edge of your Surface Pro.
- Gently push the Type Cover towards the Surface Pro until the magnets engage and it clicks into place.
- The Type Cover is designed to attach securely. Once connected, it will be recognized automatically by your Surface Pro.
- For an elevated typing experience, fold the top edge of the Type Cover upwards to magnetically attach it to the lower bezel of your Surface Pro's screen.

Trackpad Functionality:

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Type Cover, follow these maintenance guidelines:

- Rokiroki: When not attached to your Surface Pro, store the Type Cover in a clean, dry place away from extreme temperatures and direct sunlight.
- Puranga Wai: Avoid exposing the Type Cover to liquids. In case of spills, immediately disconnect it from your Surface Pro and allow it to dry completely before reattaching.
