This manual provides comprehensive instructions for the safe and effective use of your FOMITO 11-inch Articulating Magic Arm and Super Clamp. This versatile accessory combination is designed to securely mount various photographic and videographic equipment, including LCD monitors, LED video lights, and cameras, to a wide range of surfaces and rigs.
Please read this manual thoroughly before initial use to ensure proper setup and operation.
2. Hua Neke Atuview
2.1 Ihirangi mokete
- 1 x FOMITO 11-inch Articulating Magic Arm
- 1 x FOMITO Super Clamp

2.2 Nga waahanga matua
- 11-inch Articulating Magic Arm: Features a single locking knob for simultaneous release or enlargement of tension across all three articulating joints, allowing for flexible positioning.
- Super Clamp: Designed for secure attachment to various surfaces, poles, or rods. Equipped with non-slip pads for enhanced grip and protection.
- Hototahi Ao: Both components feature 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 screw threads for broad compatibility with cameras, monitors, lights, and other accessories.

3. Tohutohu Tatūnga
3.1 Attaching the Super Clamp
- Identify a stable surface, rod, or pole for attachment.
- Unscrew the T-handle on the Super Clamp kia whakatuwhera i ōna kauae.
- Whakaturia te clamp around the desired object, ensuring the non-slip pads make full contact.
- Tighten the T-handle until the clamp is securely fastened. Do not overtighten.

3.2 Attaching the Magic Arm
- Locate the 1/4"-20 or 3/8"-16 screw mount on the Super Clamp.
- Screw one end of the Articulating Magic Arm onto the chosen mount until it is finger-tight.
- Ensure the arm is firmly attached to prevent rotation or loosening during use.
3.3 Mounting Equipment to the Magic Arm
- Identify the appropriate screw mount (1/4"-20 or 3/8"-16) on your equipment (e.g., monitor, LED light, camera).
- Screw the equipment onto the free end of the Articulating Magic Arm.
- Whakapaia kia mau.
- Hiranga: The maximum recommended payload for this arm is 1.5 kg (approximately 3.3 lbs). Exceeding this limit may result in instability or damage.

4. Nga Tohutohu Whakahaere
4.1 Adjusting the Articulating Magic Arm
- To adjust the position of the arm, loosen the central locking knob. This will release tension on all three joints simultaneously.
- Carefully reposition the arm and the attached equipment to the desired angle and height. The arm allows for 360-degree rotation at its ball joints.
- Once the desired position is achieved, tighten the central locking knob firmly to secure the arm in place. Ensure it is tight enough to prevent sagging, especially with heavier loads within the specified limit.

4.2 Adjusting the Super Clamp
Ko te Super Clamp's jaw opening is adjusted by rotating the T-handle. Turn clockwise to tighten and counter-clockwise to loosen. Ensure the clamp is always securely fastened to prevent equipment from falling.

5. Tiaki
- Te horoi: Wipe the arm and clamp with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Tirotiro: Regularly inspect all screws, joints, and the locking knob for any signs of wear or damage. Ensure all connections are tight before each use.
- Rokiroki: Store the product in a dry, clean environment away from extreme temperatures.
6. Te Raru
6.1 Arm Sagging or Not Holding Position
- Check Payload: Ensure the total weight of the mounted equipment does not exceed the maximum payload of 1.5 kg.
- Tighten Knob: Fully tighten the central locking knob. If it feels loose or stripped, the internal mechanism may be worn.
- Pokapū o te Gravity: For optimal stability, try to position the equipment so its center of gravity is as close to the central joint as possible, minimizing leverage.
6.2 Super Clamp Not Securing Properly
- Hototahi Mata: Ensure the surface or object being clamped is within the jaw's adjustable range (11mm to 45mm) and provides sufficient friction for the non-slip pads.

- Inspect Pads: Check the non-slip pads for wear or damage that might reduce grip.
