3.2 Initial Connection and App Installation

  1. Plug the Lightning connector of the iXpand Flash Drive into your iPhone or iPad. The flexible design allows it to fit with most cases.
  2. If the iXpand Drive app is not already installed, your device will prompt you to download it from the Apple App Store. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the app.
  3. Once installed, open the iXpand Drive app. You may be prompted to grant permissions for the app to access your photos, videos, and contacts. Allow these permissions for full functionality.

  2. Extend the USB 3.0 connector.
  3. Plug the USB 3.0 connector into an available USB port on your Mac or PC.
