2. Tatūnga
2.1. Ka tohatohahia te Pūrere
Before first use, fully charge your Navman 4000. Connect the provided car power adapter to the device and plug it into your vehicle's 12V power outlet. The device can also be charged via a USB connection to a computer, though this method may be slower.

Attach the suction cup mount to a clean, smooth surface on your windshield or dashboard, ensuring it does not obstruct your view of the road. Securely attach the Navman 4000 to the mount. Ensure the device is stable before driving.

- TROVA (Search): Rapua addresses, points of interest (POIs), or coordinates.
- MAPPA (Map): View the map, browse routes, and see your current location.
- I MIEI LUOGHI (My Places): Access saved addresses, favorite destinations, and recent locations.
- IMPOSTAZ. (Settings): Customize device preferences, navigation options, and display settings.
- ESPLORA (Explore): Discover nearby attractions, restaurants, and other POIs.
3.2. Whakaterenga

3.3. Lane Assist and 3D Junction View
The Navman 4000 features advanced lane guidance and 3D junction views. As you approach complex intersections or exits, the screen will display a realistic representation of the road ahead, highlighting the correct lane to be in and providing clear arrows for turns (refer to Figure 2). This helps prevent missed turns and improves driving safety.
3.4. Āwhina Waka
When nearing your destination, the Parking Assist feature can help you locate nearby parking facilities. The device will display available parking options, including car parks and street parking areas, allowing for quick and convenient parking.
3.5. Find My Car Feature
The 'Find My Car' function helps you remember where you parked. When you turn off your device or detach it from its mount, it can automatically save your current location. To find your car later, simply select 'Find My Car' from the menu, and the device will guide you back to your parked vehicle.

To clean your device, use a soft, lint-free cloth. For stubborn marks, slightly dampen the cloth with water. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, alcohol, or solvents, as these can damage the screen and casing.

To prolong battery life, avoid exposing the device to extreme temperatures. If storing the device for an extended period, ensure it has at least a 50% charge. Recharge the battery periodically if not in use.
