• Always inspect the retractable lifeline before each use.

• Do not use if the fall indicator is deployed or if there are any signs of damage.
• This device is designed for a single user with a maximum weight capacity of 310 lbs (including clothing, tools, etc.).
• Always ensure proper anchorage points are used, capable of supporting 5,000 lbs per worker or meeting OSHA/ANSI requirements.
• Avoid sharp edges, abrasive surfaces, or high temperatures that could damage the lifeline.
• Do not modify or alter the equipment.

• Steel Carabiner: Included for attachment to the anchorage point.
• Fall Indicator: Sewn into the webbing, this indicator deploys upon a fall event, signaling that the unit must be removed from service.
• Pūnaha Piripiri: Unique internal system designed to ease shock and minimize free fall distance.

4. Tatūnga me te Tāuta

1. Tirohia te Waeine: Before each use, thoroughly inspect the retractable lifeline for any signs of damage, wear, cuts, fraying, corrosion, or deformation. Check the housing, webbing, snap hook, and carabiner. Ensure the fall indicator is not deployed.
2. Select Anchorage Point: Identify a suitable anchorage point that is structurally sound and capable of supporting 5,000 lbs (22.2 kN) per worker attached, or meets the criteria of a qualified person. The anchorage point should be located directly above the work area to minimize swing fall.
3. Attach to Anchorage: Use the included steel carabiner to securely attach the swivel-top of the retractable lifeline to the selected anchorage point. Ensure the carabiner gate is fully closed and locked.
4. Honoa ki te Harness: Attach the forged steel snap hook at the end of the webbing lifeline to the dorsal D-ring of your full-body harness. Ensure the snap hook gate is fully closed and locked.
5. Manatoko Hononga: Double-check all connections to ensure they are secure and properly engaged.

5. Nga Tohutohu Whakahaere

The SafeWaze FS-FSP1411-W retractable lifeline allows for freedom of movement while providing continuous fall protection.

• Nekehanga: Ko te webbing will extend and retract automatically as you move, maintaining tension.
• Mahi Piripiri: In the event of a fall, the internal braking system will engage rapidly, arresting the fall and minimizing the fall distance. A slight tug on the lifeline should cause the braking mechanism to engage momentarily, confirming its function.
• Post-Fall: If a fall occurs, the unit must be immediately removed from service. The sewn-in fall indicator will deploy, providing a clear visual signal that the unit has been subjected to fall forces. Do not use the unit again after a fall.

• Ora Ratonga: The service life of the unit is indefinite, provided it passes all inspections and has not been subjected to fall arrest forces or other damage.
