This manual provides instructions for the setup, operation, and maintenance of your Panasonic KX-TGF382M Link2Cell Bluetooth Corded/Cordless Phone System. 3. Tatūnga
3.1 Base Unit Installation
- Tūhono Pūurutau AC: Plug the AC power adapter into the base unit's power jack, then into a standard electrical outlet.
- Connect Telephone Line Cord: Plug one end of the telephone line cord into the base unit's LINE jack and the other end into your telephone wall jack.
- Turanga: Place the base unit on a flat, stable surface, away from sources of electrical noise.

3.2 Cordless Handset Setup
- Kōkuhu Pūhiko: Open the battery compartment cover on each cordless handset. Insert the supplied rechargeable AAA batteries, observing correct polarity (+/-).
- Utu Pukoro: Place each cordless handset into its respective charging cradle. Ensure the charge indicator on the handset lights up. Allow at least 7 hours for initial charging.

3.3 Link2Cell Bluetooth Pairing
The Link2Cell feature allows you to connect up to two Bluetooth-enabled smartphones to your phone system to make and receive cell calls through the Panasonic handsets.
- Activate Bluetooth on Smartphone: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone and it is discoverable.
- Initiate Pairing on Base Unit/Handset:

- Select "Pairing" or "Add Cell".
- Follow the on-screen prompts to search for your smartphone.
- Whakaū Tauhoa: Once your smartphone appears on the phone system's display, select it and confirm the pairing. A PIN may be required (usually "0000").
- Connect Second Smartphone (Optional): Repeat the process for a second smartphone if desired. The system can manage calls from both connected cell lines.
4. Nga Tohutohu Whakahaere
4.1 Te Waea me te Whiwhi Waea
- Hei Waea: Hikitia te ringaringa, pehia ranei te KORERO button, then dial the number. For cell calls, press the Pūtau 1 or Pūtau 2 button before dialing.
- Hei Whiwhi Waea: Hikitia te ringaringa, pehia ranei te KORERO pātene ka tangi te waea.
- Talking ID Alerts: When a call or text is received on a linked cell phone, the handset will announce the caller's name or number if available.
4.2 Answering Machine
The integrated digital answering machine records messages when you are unavailable.
- Whakakā/Weto: Pehia te PANUITANGA ON / WATE button on the base unit or navigate through the handset menu.
- Ngā Karere Tākaro: Pehia te TAKARO/TATA button on the base unit or access "Answering Machine" from the handset menu.
4.3 Call Block
Block unwanted calls with the one-touch call block feature.
- I te Waeatanga: Pehia te KAUPAPA PORI button on the base unit or handset.
- From Caller ID Log: Access the Caller ID log, select the number to block, and press KAUPAPA PORI. The system can store up to 250 blocked numbers.

4.4 Pukapuka Waea
Store frequently called numbers for quick access. The system supports up to 3,000 entries.
- Add Entry: Navigate to the Phonebook menu on a handset, select "Add New Entry", and follow the prompts.
- Transfer from Cell: Use the Link2Cell feature to transfer contacts from your paired smartphone to the phone system's phonebook.
4.5 Waeawhiti
Use the intercom feature to communicate between the base unit and cordless handsets, or between cordless handsets.
- Pehia te PANUI button on a handset or the base unit, then select the desired destination handset.
4.6 Aroturuki Pepe
The base unit includes a baby monitor function.

5. Tiaki

6. Te Raru
If you encounter issues with your phone system, refer to the following common solutions:
