- Hononga Hiko: Plug the power cable into the AC IN port on the recorder and then into a wall outlet.
- Tatūnga Tuatahi: Turn on your TV and select the correct HDMI input. Power on the recorder. Follow the on-screen instructions for initial setup, including language selection and channel scanning for DVB-C/DVB-T tuners.

The DMR-BCT760EG features a 500GB hard drive and dual DVB-C/DVB-T tuners, allowing you to record two programs simultaneously while watching a third (if compatible with your tuner setup).
