  1. Wewete ana: Carefully remove the oven and all accessories from the packaging. Remove any packing materials, stickers, or protective films from the oven.
  2. Turanga: Place the oven on a stable, heat-resistant, and level surface. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the oven (at least 10-15 cm clearance on all sides and top) to allow for proper heat dissipation. Do not place it near flammable materials or under cabinets.
  3. Hononga Hiko: Me whakarite kia rite to putanga hiko ki te voltage and frequency specified on the oven's rating label. Plug the oven into a grounded electrical outlet.
  4. Whakamahinga Tuatahi (Te Wera): Before cooking food, operate the oven empty for approximately 15 minutes to burn off any manufacturing residues.
    • Set the temperature knob to maximum (250°C).
    • Set the function knob to "Bake" or "Convection Bake".

    • A slight odor or smoke may be present during this initial operation; this is normal and will dissipate. Ensure the area is well-ventilated.
  5. Allow the oven to cool completely before its first actual use for cooking.

  8. Mutu te tunu kai: When the timer reaches "OFF", a chime will sound, and the oven will turn off. If cooking is finished before the timer, turn the timer knob to "OFF" manually.
  9. Tango Kai: Using oven mitts, carefully remove the cooked food from the oven.
