The 892LT remote control can be programmed to operate up to two different garage door openers or gate operators. Follow these steps to program your remote:
4.1. Locate the Learn Button on Your Opener
The location and color of the Learn button vary by garage door opener model. Refer to your garage door opener's manual if you cannot locate it. Common locations include the back or side panel of the motor unit.

- Press and Release the Learn Button: On your garage door opener, press and immediately release the Learn button. The Learn LED on the opener will glow steadily for 30 seconds.
- Press and Hold the Remote Button: Within 30 seconds, press and hold the button on your 892LT remote control that you wish to program.
- Release the Remote Button: Release the remote button when the garage door opener lights flash or two clicks are heard. This indicates that the remote has been successfully programmed.

If you are programming a second button for another opener, repeat the steps above, selecting a different button on the 892LT remote and the Learn button on the second opener.

- To Open or Close the Door: Press the programmed button on your remote control. The garage door or gate will begin to move.
- To Stop the Door: Press the programmed button again while the door is in motion.
- To Reverse the Door: If the door is stopped mid-travel, pressing the button again will reverse its direction.
Ensure you have a clear line of sight to the garage door or gate when operating the remote to prevent accidents.
