3. Tatūnga

3.1. Ka tohatohahia te Pūrere

Before first use, fully charge the navigator. Connect the provided car charger or USB cable to the device and a power source (vehicle's 12V socket or computer USB port). The charging indicator will illuminate.

3.2. Mounting in Vehicle

Attach the suction cup mount to a clean, smooth surface on your windshield or dashboard. Ensure the mount is securely fastened before attaching the navigator. Connect the car charger to the device and your vehicle's 12V socket.

3.3. Hia Tuatahi

Press and hold the power button until the device screen illuminates. Follow the on-screen prompts to select your language, region, and other initial settings.

From the main menu, select 'Navigation' or 'Destination'. You can enter an address, search for points of interest (POIs), or select from recent destinations. Once your destination is set, the device will calculate the route and provide turn-by-turn voice guidance and on-screen directions.

4.2. Map Features

The device offers various map views, including 2D, 3D, and junction view. You can zoom in and out using the on-screen controls. Traffic information (if available and subscribed) will be displayed on the map.

4.3. Tautuhinga

Access the 'Settings' menu to customize your navigator. Options include:

  • Reo: Change the device's display and voice guidance language.
  • Rōrahi: Adjust the volume of voice prompts and alerts.
  • Whakaatu: Modify brightness, backlight timeout, and color schemes.
  • Route Preferences: Set preferences for shortest/fastest route, avoid highways, etc.
