4. Tohutohu Tatūnga
4.1. Tohutohii Pakihi
The battery pack is not fully charged upon purchase. It is recommended to fully charge the battery before first use. Use only the charger provided with your drill driver set.

- Insert the battery pack into the charger. Ensure it is seated correctly.
- Allow the battery to charge until the indicator light on the charger signals a full charge (refer to charger instructions for specific light indications).
- Once charged, disconnect the battery from the charger and unplug the charger from the outlet.
4.2. Tāuta me te Tango i te Pūhiko Pūhiko

- Hei Tango: Press the battery pack release button (located on the side of the battery pack) and slide the battery pack out.
4.3. Installing Drill/Driver Bits
The drill features a 3/8" (10mm) keyless chuck for easy bit changes.
- Ensure the drill is off and the battery pack is removed for safety.
- Grasp the rear half of the chuck and rotate the front half counter-clockwise until the chuck jaws are open wider than the bit you intend to insert.
- Insert the drill bit or driver bit into the chuck jaws. Ensure the bit is centered and fully seated.
- Rotate the front half of the chuck clockwise to tighten the jaws securely around the bit. Hand-tighten firmly.

5. Nga Tohutohu Whakahaere
5.1. On/Off Switch and Variable Speed Control
The trigger switch controls the drill's power and speed. Pressing the trigger initiates operation, and the speed is variable based on pressure applied.
- To turn on, press the trigger switch.
- To increase speed, apply more pressure to the trigger.
- Hei whakaweto, tukuna te pana keu.
5.2. Two-Speed Gear Control
The drill features a two-speed gear selector located on top of the tool.
- Position 1 (Low Speed, 0-400 RPM): Recommended for driving screws and applications requiring higher torque.
- Position 2 (High Speed, 0-1500 RPM): E taunaki ana mo te keri me nga tono kia tere ake te hurihanga.
Always ensure the drill is stopped before changing gear positions to prevent damage.

5.3. Mowhiti Whakatikatika Tika
The torque adjustment ring allows you to select the desired torque setting for driving screws, preventing over-tightening or stripping. The drill offers 21+1 torque settings.
- Rotate the ring to align the desired number with the indicator mark. Lower numbers are for smaller screws or softer materials; higher numbers are for larger screws or harder materials.
- The drill icon setting is for drilling applications, providing maximum torque.

5.4. Forward/Reverse Rotation Control
The forward/reverse lever is located above the trigger switch. It controls the direction of rotation.
- Push the lever to the left for forward rotation (drilling and driving screws).
- Push the lever to the right for reverse rotation (removing screws or jammed bits).
- When the lever is in the center position, the trigger is locked, preventing accidental startup.
5.5. Maama Mahi LED
The integrated LED light activates when the trigger is pressed, illuminating the work surface for better visibility.

5.6. Nga tono
This drill driver is suitable for various household tasks, including:
- Drilling holes in wood (up to 5/8" or 16mm) and metal (up to 7/32" or 6mm).

6. Tiaki

- Tiaki Pūhiko: Do not allow the battery to fully discharge. Recharge the battery regularly, even when not in use, to maintain its lifespan.
