3. Tohutohu Tatūnga
- Hononga Hiko: Connect the provided USB power cable to the DC 5V input on the converter. Plug the USB end into a compatible USB power source (e.g., a USB wall adapter, TV USB port, or computer USB port). The Power LED will illuminate.
- HD Input: Connect an HDMI cable from your source device (e.g., Blu-ray player, Fire TV, Apple TV, game console) to the "HDMI In" port on the converter.
- Huaputa HDMI: Connect another HDMI cable from the "HDMI Out" port on the converter to your display device (e.g., TV, projector, monitor).
- Putanga Ororongo: Choose your desired audio output method:
- SPDIF Out (Optical): For digital audio, connect an optical cable from the "SPDIF Out" port to your soundbar, AV receiver, or home theater system.
- Stereo Out (RCA or 3.5mm): For analog stereo audio, connect an RCA cable (red/white) or a 3.5mm audio cable to your stereo receiver, speakers, or headphones.
- Tīpakonga Aratau Ororongo: Use the "Select" button on the converter to switch between 2.0CH (stereo) and 5.1CH (surround sound) audio modes. The default setting is 2.0CH. Note that 5.1CH audio output is only supported via the Toslink (SPDIF) and coaxial sockets. If the audio source does not support 5.1CH output, it will default to 2.0CH.

Remember that 5.1CH is only available through SPDIF/Toslink and coaxial outputs, and your source must provide a 5.1CH signal.
