5. Nga Tohutohu Whakahaere
Nga Tikanga Tunu Ahunui:

- Tāpiri atu ki te Ipu: Place the prepared ingredients into the ceramic inner pot. Add the appropriate amount of water according to the recipe or rice type.
- Kōkuhu Pot: Place the inner pot into the main rice cooker unit, ensuring it sits correctly and makes full contact with the heating element.
- Katia te taupoki: Katia te taupoki kia pai te pao ki te waahi.
- Tohua te Mahi: Plug in the rice cooker. The display will light up. Press the desired cooking function button (e.g., raihi, pāreti, Hupa, Kai Pepi, Raihi Claypot).
- Tīmata te tunu: Pehia te Tīmata button to begin the cooking process. The indicator light for the selected function will illuminate.
- Whakaoti: Once cooking is complete, the rice cooker will automatically switch to the Kia mahana mode. The display will show the elapsed time in Keep Warm mode.
- Mahi: Open the lid carefully to avoid steam. Use the provided rice scoop to serve.
- Whakakore: To cancel any operation or exit Keep Warm mode, press the Kia Mahana/Whakakore pātene.

The timer function allows you to set a delayed start for your cooking.
- Prepare ingredients and place them in the inner pot as described above.

- Press the desired cooking function button.
- Pehia te Matawā button. The display will show a default delay time.

- Pehia te Tīmata button to confirm the timer setting. The timer indicator will light up, and the countdown will begin.
- The rice cooker will automatically start cooking once the set delay time has elapsed.
