This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your Locinox LCKX powder-coated green lock. The LCKX lock is specifically designed for use with gate profiles, offering robust security and durability. Its mechanism is constructed from 100% stainless steel, housed within a powder-coated aluminum casing, ensuring waterproof performance and resistance to environmental elements.

4. Tatūnga me te Tāuta
The Locinox LCKX lock is designed for easy installation on gate profiles. The lock is factory-set for 40 mm profiles. The opening direction of the lock shown in the accompanying image is right-handed.
4.1 Profile Adjustment (40 mm to 60 mm)
The lock's spindle length can be adjusted by +20 mm, allowing it to fit profiles ranging from 40 mm to 60 mm. This adjustment is performed by disassembling the housing and adjusting the screws.
- Carefully remove the screws securing the lock housing.
- Disassemble the housing to access the adjustment mechanism.
- Adjust the spindle tips by +20 mm as required for your specific profile width (between 40 mm and 60 mm).
- Reassemble the housing, ensuring all screws are securely tightened.
4.2 Mounting the Lock
Refer to the diagram below for a visual guide to the installation process.

- Prepare your gate profile by drilling the necessary holes for the lock mechanism and mounting bolts. Ensure precise measurements for optimal fit.
- Insert the lock unit into the prepared opening on the gate profile.
- Align the mounting holes on the lock with the drilled holes on the profile.
- Secure the lock to the profile using the provided bolts. Tighten them firmly but do not overtighten.
- Install the handle set onto the lock spindle.
- Insert the cylinder into its designated slot and secure it.
- Test the lock's functionality (latch and deadbolt) with the keys and handle to ensure smooth operation.
5. Mahi
The Locinox LCKX lock operates with a standard key cylinder and a handle for the latch mechanism.
- To open the gate: Turn the handle to retract the latch. If the deadbolt is engaged, insert the key into the cylinder and turn it to retract the deadbolt first, then turn the handle.
- To close the gate: Simply push the gate shut. The spring-loaded latch will automatically engage.
- To secure the gate: Once the gate is closed, insert the key into the cylinder and turn it to extend the deadbolt, locking the gate securely. Remove the key.
6. Tiaki
The Locinox LCKX lock is designed for minimal maintenance due to its durable construction materials.

- Tirotiro: Regularly inspect the lock for any signs of wear, damage, or loose components. Ensure all mounting screws remain tight.
7. Te Raru
- Lock is stiff or difficult to operate:
- Check for any obstructions in the gate frame or strike plate.
- Apply a suitable lubricant to the moving parts as described in the Maintenance section.
- Ensure the lock is properly aligned with the strike plate.
- Keys are difficult to turn:
- Ensure the key is fully inserted into the cylinder.
- Apply a small amount of graphite powder or a specialized lock lubricant into the keyway.
- Check if the cylinder is damaged or worn.
- Lock feels loose on the gate:
- Tighten the mounting screws that secure the lock to the gate profile. Kaua e whakakaha rawa.
