  2. Connect the Base to Host System:

  3. Pairing the Scanner with the Base:

    The scanner and base are typically pre-paired. If pairing is lost or you are setting up a new scanner/base combination:

    • Refer to the Datalogic Gryphon GM4500 Quick Reference Guide (usually included or available online) for specific pairing barcode sequences. Scan the designated pairing barcode with the scanner.
    • A successful pairing will be indicated by an audible beep and/or a specific LED pattern on both the scanner and the base.
