4.2 Front Connections
The front panel of the CDJ500 features essential connections for performance and monitoring, including microphone and headphone jacks, as well as the CD loading slots.

- For powered speakers or an external amplifier: Connect the Master Output (RCA) to the input of your ampkaiwhakaoho, kaikorero hiko ranei.
- For passive speakers: Connect your speakers directly to the speaker terminals on the rear panel.
- External Audio Sources (Optional): If using external devices, connect them to the RCA inputs on the rear panel.

- Insert an audio CD or MP3 CD into one of the CD slots. The unit will automatically load and read the disc.
- Select the CD source for the desired channel on the mixer.
- Use the Play/Pause button to start or stop playback.
- Use the Track Skip buttons to navigate between tracks.
- The display will show track information and elapsed/remaining time.
6.2 Whakahoki USB
The CDJ500 supports USB media playback. The image below shows a USB drive connected to one of the USB ports.

- Insert a USB flash drive or external hard drive (formatted to FAT32) into one of the USB ports.
- Select the USB source for the desired channel on the mixer.
- Use the navigation buttons to browse folders and select tracks.
- Use the Play/Pause button to start or stop playback.
6.3 Rererangi Nihokikorangi
- Activate Bluetooth mode on the CDJ500. The Bluetooth indicator will flash.
