4. Tatūnga
- Wewete: Carefully remove the cord reel from its packaging.
- Tirotiro: Examine the cord reel for any signs of damage. Do not use if any damage is observed.
- Turanga: Position the cord reel on a stable, dry surface, away from heat sources or flammable materials.
- Mono Mai: Insert the cord reel's main plug into a standard 120V grounded wall outlet.
5. Mahi
- Extend the Cord: Pull the desired length of the extension cord from the reel. Ensure the cord is fully uncoiled to prevent overheating, especially when drawing high power.
- Whakahohe Mana: Press the ON/OFF power switch on the front panel to the 'ON' position. The indicator light will illuminate, showing power is active.
- Tūhono Pūrere: Plug your appliances or tools into the four grounded outlets.
- Rewind the Cord: When finished, unplug all devices and turn off the power switch. Use the integrated handle on the side of the reel to manually wind the cord back into the housing. This ensures tangle-free storage.

6. Tiaki
- Te horoi: Disconnect the cord reel from the power source before cleaning. Wipe the exterior with a dry, soft cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or immerse in water.
- Rokiroki: Always rewind the cord completely before storing. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture.
- Tirotiro: Periodically inspect the cord and plug for cuts, fraying, or other damage. If damaged, discontinue use and replace the product.
7. Te Raru
If the cord reel stops providing power:
- Check Overload Protector: The cord reel has a built-in circuit breaker (overload protector). If too many devices are connected or a device draws excessive power, the circuit breaker will trip, cutting off power.
- Tautuhi: Disconnect some devices to reduce the load. Press the red 'OVERLOAD' reset button on the front panel to restore power.
- Tirohia ngā Pūrere: If the breaker trips repeatedly, check your connected devices for faults.
