1. Whakataki Tuatahi
Before first use, it is recommended to charge the device for 2-3 hours using the provided USB charging cable. Connect the USB cable to the scanner and a compatible USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter). The indicator light on the device will show charging status.
2. Te Hononga ki te Waka
Locate the OBD-II diagnostic port in your vehicle (typically under the dashboard on the driver's side). Connect the provided OBD cable to the scanner and then to your vehicle's OBD-II port. The device will power on automatically once connected to the vehicle.
3. Hononga Wi-Fi
For software updates and online features, connect the scanner to a Wi-Fi network:
- From the main menu, tap "Settings".
- Select "Wi-Fi" and turn it ON.

1. Matawai VIN Aunoa
The device can automatically identify vehicle information (make, model, year) for quick diagnostics:
- Connect the scanner to the vehicle's OBD-II port.
- The scanner will attempt to automatically detect the VIN. If successful, it will display the vehicle information.
- If Auto VIN fails, you can manually input the VIN.

2. Multi-System Diagnosis
The CRP123X Elite diagnoses four core vehicle systems:
- Pūnaha Mīhini: Reads and clears engine fault codes, views live data related to engine performance.
- Pūnaha Pēki Ārai-raka (ABS): Diagnoses ABS issues, reads and clears ABS codes, views live data.
- Supplemental Restraint System (SRS/Airbag): Checks airbag system status, reads and clears SRS codes.
- Pūnaha Whakawhiti: Diagnoses transmission problems, reads and clears transmission codes, views live data.

3. Te Pānui me te Whakakore i ngā Waehere Raru Tātaritanga (DTC)
After a system scan, the device will display any detected DTCs. You can then:
- Panui Waehere: View detailed definitions of the fault codes to understand the underlying issue.
- Ngā Waehere Whakamārama: Once a repair has been made, use this function to erase the fault codes and turn off warning lights.
4. Live Data Display
Monitor real-time vehicle sensor data in text or graphical format. This helps in identifying abnormal readings and diagnosing intermittent issues.
- Data can be displayed in single, multi-graph, or merged 4-in-1 formats for comprehensive analysis.
- Data can be recorded and played back for later review.

5. Special Reset Functions
The CRP123X Elite includes 7 free reset functions for common maintenance tasks:
- Tautuhi Hinu: Ka tautuhi anō i te rama ratonga hinu i muri i te whakawhiti hinu.
- Steering Angle Sensor (SAS) Reset: Ka whakatikatika i te pūoko koki urungi.
- Te Whakarerekētanga o te Tātari: Ka ako anō i te tūranga o te tinana whakatere.
- Te toto ABS: Bleeds air from the ABS system.
- Tautuhi Anō i te Pūnaha Whakahaere Pūhiko (BMS): Resets the battery monitoring system after battery replacement.
- Tautuhinga Pēki: Resets the electronic parking brake (EPB) after brake pad replacement.
- Diesel Particulate Filter (D-P-F) Regeneration: Initiates DPF regeneration process.

6. Pūhiko Voltage Aroturuki
The scanner can monitor your vehicle's battery voltage in real-time, displayed in graphs and text, to help assess battery health.

7. Diagnostic Report Generation and Sharing
Generate professional diagnostic reports in PDF format. These reports can be saved, emailed, or printed for future reference or sharing with a mechanic.
- Reports are stored in the diagnostic history for easy access.
- Use the "Share" option to send reports via Wi-Fi.

- Device Fails to Turn On:
- Ensure the device is charged for 2-3 hours. Check if the indicator light is on.
