Before using the vacuum storage bags, ensure your items are clean and dry. Avoid overfilling the bags, as this may cause them to re-inflate or damage the seal. For best results, fold clothes as neatly and as flat as possible to maximize air removal.

  1. Whakaritea nga Tuemi: Ensure all items to be stored are completely dry. Fold them neatly to fit within the bag's dimensions.
  2. Open the Bag: Unzip the double-zip seal completely.
  3. Utaina nga mea: Place your folded items inside the bag. Do not overfill; leave at least 4 inches (10 cm) of space from the closing side.

  1. Hiritia te Pēke: Once items are inside, hold one side of the closing edge and firmly slide the zipper clip along the entire length of the double-zip seal several times to ensure it is completely airtight.
  2. Whakatuwheratia te Valve: Unscrew the blue cap from the triple-seal turbo valve on the bag.
  3. Remove Air: You have two options for air removal:
    • Using the Hand Pump: Attach the included hand pump to the valve and pump all the air out until the bag is flat and firm.
    • Using a Vacuum Cleaner: For faster results, especially with larger bags (Jumbo or X-Jumbo), connect a standard vacuum cleaner hose to the valve and turn on the vacuum to extract the air.
  4. Katia te Takirere: Once the desired compression is achieved, quickly screw the blue cap back onto the valve, tightening it to prevent air from re-entering.

  • Incomplete Seal: Ensure the double-zip seal is completely closed along its entire length. Use the provided clip to slide firmly across the seal multiple times.
  • Valve Not Sealed: Make sure the blue cap on the valve is screwed on tightly after air removal.
  • Whakakī nui: The bag may be overfilled, preventing a proper seal. Remove some items and try again.
  • Toka: Check the bag for any small holes or tears. If found, the bag may need to be replaced.

  • Valve Obstruction: Ensure no fabric or items are blocking the valve opening from the inside.
  • Improper Pump/Vacuum Connection: Make sure the hand pump or vacuum hose is securely attached to the valve.
