The Korg B2SP is an 88-key digital piano designed to provide an authentic playing experience with modern features. This manual provides essential information for setting up, operating, and maintaining your instrument.

The B2SP features a keyboard that reproduces the touch of an acoustic piano, a new sound engine with 12 carefully selected sounds, and versatile input/output options for connectivity. 2. Tatūnga
Follow these steps to set up your Korg B2SP Digital Piano:
- Huihuia te Tu: Attach the dedicated stand components securely according to the included assembly guide.
- Attach the Three-Pedal Unit: Connect the three-pedal unit to the designated port on the stand or piano.
- Place the Piano: Carefully place the digital piano onto the assembled stand.
- Hono Hono: Connect the power adapter to the DC 12V input on the piano and plug it into a power outlet. Alternatively, the piano can be powered by 6 AA batteries for portable use.
- Attach Music Rest: Insert the music rest into the slots on the piano's top panel. This can hold sheet music or mobile devices.

3. Nga waahanga matua
- NH4 Hammer Action Keybed: The 88-key keyboard reproduces the feel of an acoustic piano, with a heavier touch in the low register and lighter touch in the high register. It is sensitive to nuanced touch.
- Mihini Oro: Features 12 carefully selected sounds, including German piano, Electric piano, Italian piano, and Organ, providing realistic and expressive tones.
- Kaikōrero whakauru: Equipped with 15-watt output speakers for clear and dynamic sound.
- Paihere Pūmanawa: Includes a generous bundle of software for practicing and creative work, enhancing the piano's functionality.

4. Nga Tohutohu Whakahaere
4.1 Hiko / Whakaweto
Pehia te MANA button located on the left side of the top panel to turn the piano on or off. The power indicator light will illuminate when the piano is on.
4.2 Mana Rōrahi
Whakamahia te ROTO knob to adjust the overall sound level of the piano. Turn clockwise to increase volume, counter-clockwise to decrease.
4.3 Kōwhiringa Oro
Hurihia te TE KORERO TANGI knob to choose from the 12 available instrument sounds. Options include Grand Piano, Electric Piano, Organ, Strings, Harpsichord, and more.

4.4 Mita
Pehia te HE TANGATA button to activate the built-in metronome. Adjust the tempo, time signature, and volume using the function keys (refer to the full user manual for specific key combinations).
4.5 Reverb and Chorus Effects
Pehia te REVERB button to add a reverberation effect, simulating playing in a larger space. The KORERO effect (accessed via function keys) adds depth and richness to the sound.
4.6 Transpose and Fine-Tuning
Whakamahia te HUAKI a HE WHAKAMAHI-TINO functions (accessed via function keys) to adjust the pitch of the entire keyboard to match other instruments or vocal ranges.
5. Hononga
The Korg B2SP offers various connectivity options:
- Tihakihihi For silent practice, connect headphones to the 3.5mm headphone jack. This jack also functions as an auxiliary output for connecting to external sound systems.
- USB Type B Port: Connect the piano to a computer, smartphone, or tablet using a USB Type B cable for MIDI and audio data transfer. This allows interaction with music production software and learning apps.
- Damper Pedal Input: Honoa te whakauru damper pedal to the dedicated input for sustain functionality.

7. Tiaki
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your digital piano:
- Te horoi: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the surface of the piano. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Parenga puehu: Ki te kore e whakamahia, uhia te piana ki te uhi puehu kia kore ai e pupuhi te puehu i runga i nga ki me nga waahanga o roto.
- Whakakapinga Pūhiko: If using batteries, replace all 6 AA batteries simultaneously when the power indicator dims or the piano does not power on.
8. Te Raru
If you encounter any issues with your Korg B2SP, consider the following:
- Kore Oro: Check the volume level, ensure headphones are not fully plugged in if using speakers, and verify power connection.
